BOOKING DEPOSIT:

A booking deposit of 25% of the cost of the holiday is required and is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due 8 weeks before the start of your holiday (10 weeks for Christmas and New Year).

For bookings made less than 8 weeks before arrival, full payment is required upon booking. We accept payment by BACS/cheque. Hartleyburn Hall reserves the right to cancel a holiday booking where full payment has not been received in accordance with these terms.

 

SECURITY DEPOSIT:

We ask for a security deposit to try and encourage people to respect the property and limit any damages that may occur.  

This property contains expensive furnishings and very expensive leisure equipment that other holiday let properties do not have. 

A security deposit of £300* is payable 2 weeks in advance and will be returned 2 weeks after departure. Our security deposit is small for the size of property and its facilities that it contains.

* £2500 if all guests are male.

PETS:

No more than 2 Pets Allowed (additional charge of £75 per pet payable 2 weeks before arrival)

We ask guests with dogs to follow few simple rules:
* Dogs must always be properly controlled and supervised so that they do not cause damage to the property. 
* Dogs must not be left unattended in the holiday property.  
* Dogs are not permitted in bedrooms or on any furniture. We therefore advise owners to bring a dog basket or one can be provided if notified in advance.   
* Pet owners are asked to clean up any dog waste. Dog waste is not to be left in the garden area. Gardens are checked after each departure to ensure no dog waste is present for the safety and hygiene for arriving guests. Extra cleaning costs may be charged if the above rules are not adhered to. 

 

PLEASE NOTE:  

One of the flights of stairs is steep and narrow to first floor. There is a stream 20 yards at the rear of the garden behind a hedge. A log pile is present at bottom of garden.
